Ingredients:
3 ripe bananas
1/2 cup melted butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. baking soda
pinch of salt
1.5 cups of flour
Preparation:
Preheat the oven to 175°C. Grease a bread baking dish with butter.
In a large bowl, mashed potato the bananas with a fork until mashed.
Add the melted butter and mix well.
Stir in the sugar, beaten egg and vanilla extract.
Add the baking soda and salt, then gradually incorporate the flour, mixing well.
Pour the batter into the prepared mold.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 60 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Cool the banana bread in the mold for about 10 minutes, then remove and cool completely on a rack.
